THIS IS A MUST VISIT LOCATION – THE SECRET IS OUT – CALL FOR RESERVATIONS!
Really blown away by Cucina 38. Growing up in an Italian family I am lucky enough to have enjoyed amazing Italian food and Cucina 38 feels like home. We tried to eat here on the weekend but even at 5:00 on a Saturday they were full and all tables had reservations against them. This alone speaks volumes. Driving by on Tuesday we called to see if they had a table and luckily they had one. When you enter the space you immediately feel the comfortable vibe. It is a small space but set up in a way that feels roomy. We started with the salami board. There were so many highlights to this! Crostini with pesto, broccoli rabe like my Nonna made it and some great cheese and meats. I had the pasta Fagioli and an arugula salad. I loved it – an Italian staple, this one tasted like childhood. My husband had the chicken Alfredo with new peas and raved. My son had the tagliatelle bolognese and loved it. To finish we had the chocolate mousse cake and espresso. All wonderful!! On top of all the delicious food the service was great.
Our first time to this small, welcoming place that’s only been opened a couple of months. Stopped for lunch on a rainy, windy day. It’s located just south of the post office on so Washington St. Perfect choice. Staff is so friendly and kind. Allie took great care of us. Food was excellent. Loved the Tuscan style pizza, Adri Lucia. Such good flavor from the four cheeses and perfect texture. The Cucina 38 Special sandwich with perfectly grilled sausage, broccoli rabe and sharp provolone on a perfect sub roll was melt in your mouth goodness. The sautéed calamari was one of the best we’ve eaten with garlic, lemon and white wine sauce. For dessert the three little cannoli filled to order were creamy and delicious. Next time we want to try soups, salad and pasta. Friends tell us they are busy on weekends so make a reservation.
Great experience for takeout last week for salads with a group of friends, we decided to try it out in person for lunch. My daughter and I shared a pizza and a Caesar salad. My husband had the Outskirts of Paris sandwich. The ingredients in the salad were top notch. Tasty pizza and my husband loved his sandwich. It’s a quaint place inside and the owner explained they are working on an idea to combat the draft of the front door inside the restaurant. He was very warm and welcoming. I will be back for dinner! Overall I’m happy little North Attleboro has added this gem to their Downtown businesses.
Excited to have a new place in the area, as town is overrun with chains. Stumbled upon this place while deciding on takeout for dinner. Called order in, super fast for pickup and food was delicious! We had the gnocchi, veggie pizza and crab encrusted salmon. Even our 2 y/o was a fan. My husband who picked up food commented how cute the place was. Excited to dine there, will definitely have the salmon again – so good!
We had dinner last night here for the first time and we really enjoyed the food. It’s a small spot, bar is limited, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was great too – guided us towards the best things to try and we were not disappointed. Without a doubt we will be back!
Absolutely delicious! We got gnocchi & sausage/Broccoli Rabe and loved it. Would go back again and recommend to others. Suggest making a reservation as limited seating
Federal Hill just moved into North Attleboro!!!
Born and raised in Rhode Island, there are not many places where the food is comparable to “The Hill” outside The Hill…..until now!!!
We will be back again tonight, and everyday for lunch!!! OMG the sandwiches are to die for!!!
Incredible food, wonderful owners and staff….we cannot get enough of Cucina 38!
Welcome to North Attleboro’s latest gem. Italian comfort food at its best. We enjoyed incredible food, exquisite service, and delicious wine in a casual but upscale new restaurant. Highly recommend.
If you’re looking for a romantic date night look no further. I highly recommend making a reservation & getting a small table near the window. It’s such a stunning space and the waitstaff is amazing! They all have great food & drink recommendations. The chef even came out and discussed our meal with us. It was truly the most amazing time! Thank youuu!
This is a cozy establishment where reservations definitely should be made in advance. We made our reservations a week prior to arriving on a busy Friday night and are thrilled that we did. The service was fantastic but the food was amazing. The food is made fresh with precise care and it definitely shows. For starters, we ordered the Pasta e Fagioli Bianco soup which was fantastic and was loaded with delicious white beans and Ditalini pasta. Then for entrees, we ordered the Chicken Limone which had a wonderful lemon butter sauce and capers, served on a creamy risotto and sautéed green beans. The chicken had a beautiful golden sear to it and was moist and flavorful. We also ordered the Pork Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Aglio e Olio. The sausage and broccoli rabe were plentiful on the rigatoni pasta and was simply amazing. The portion sizes are not huge, but are the perfect size of quality ingredients. We left very much satisfied. I really wish I could give Cucina 38 a rating higher than 5 stars! We enjoyed our first visit and already can’t wait to return.
Food was good, service was great! Small hidden Italian restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.
Exceptional food. Phenomenal service. Perfect atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back again! Perfect date night spot. Must try.
